I wish this wisdom would work in interior design too. But designers are relentless and advise getting rid of some things.

Gorgeous frames
If there are paintings or framed photos hanging on the walls, you need to make sure that the frames are not pretentious and are in harmony with the overall background.
A rich frame will not make a piece of art more expensive, but will only make the furnishings in the room cheaper.
Textiles with stains
Towels, tablecloths, blankets and other home textiles from which stains could not be removed after a feast.
You need to assess the situation and decide what is more important: your reputation or a new towel.
Silk bed linen
The material is not the cheapest. It is better to choose cotton or linen sets. Visually, they will not seem cheap, but will be more comfortable for the body.
Leather furniture
If we are talking about genuine leather, then there is nothing wrong with that.
Other materials, such as leatherette, eco-leather and other “leatherettes”, will look like an attempt to throw dust in the eyes.
