Clothes dryer
On the one hand, the house may not be dusty, but a clothes dryer with or without laundry, standing alone in the corner of the room, can spoil the impression.
It would be better to do the laundry after the guests leave or hide it somewhere where no one will look.
Ironing board
Something similar can happen with an ironing board that you haven’t had time to put away after ironing.
It should not be visible during the reception of guests, either assembled or disassembled.
Cleaning equipment
The mop, brush, rags, basins and buckets should be stored in some inconspicuous corner or closet, but not in plain sight.
Sports equipment
Gymnastics mats, dumbbells, exercise machines – that’s all great and good, but they shouldn’t be in the living room.
Shoes in the hallway
Shoes should be placed on a shelf, in a cabinet, or wherever they are supposed to dry.
