Instead, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, advises to thoughtfully approach the choice of a table for the kitchen - this way you will be able to not only create coziness here, but also maintain the functionality and convenience of the room.
So what should that ideal table for a small kitchen be like? Anything, really.
Round table
A table that has a round shape, of course, does not have corners, which is why the structure visually looks lighter. It will come in handy if you plan to place the table in the center of the room.
Semi-circular table
Here, in addition to the inherent advantage of round tables – streamlining – another advantage is added – the ability to push furniture close to the wall.
Oval table
Compared to a round table, such furniture is more functional, as it has increased capacity. A good idea would be to buy a transformable table, which can be transformed from round to oval with simple manipulations.
Square table
A small table with a square tabletop can be placed either against the wall or in the corner. However, in the latter case, only two people will be able to sit at it.
Rectangular table
This option is the most common, but if we are talking about a small room, it is worth slightly modifying it, replacing the usual model with one that is narrower. This way you can save space, which is already in short supply in a small kitchen.
