No one will argue with the fact that small tiles are increasingly popular among apartment owners.
However, Yulia Tychino, an expert at the online publication BelNovosti, considers this option not to be the best one.
And she has two reasons for this.
1. Too many small details create the effect of visually reducing space.
Therefore, if you have a tiny Khrushchev-era apartment or a studio apartment with an area of 20 square meters, you should abandon the idea of using small tiles already at this stage.
2. But that’s not all: small-format tiles cannot be called practical, since the large number of seams makes cleaning a real pain.
If you don't want to spend a lot of time and effort on tidying up, choose large format tiles.
Its effect is diametrically opposite: the room will visually become larger, and the cleaning process will be much easier.
