No one will argue that every thing has two sides - dark and light.

So, when it comes to a kitchen sink in front of a window, for some reason everyone only sees the advantages of such a design idea, while turning a blind eye to the disadvantages, says Yulia Tychino , an expert at the online publication BelNovosti.

However, there are plenty of disadvantages to a sink located in front of a window.

At the very least, you will have to wash your windows more often, because in the process of cleaning plates and cups, whether we want it or not, splashes of water, soap suds, and often grease fly in all directions.

Another problem that awaits all those who were attracted by the beautiful picture is that it will not be possible to hang the dish dryer in its usual place, that is, above the sink.

In this case, you will most likely have to resort to a tabletop option, and it takes up a lot of useful table space.

Don't forget about the heating radiator, which will have to be moved to another place. You can, of course, build it into the kitchen unit, but this is fraught with significant heat loss. And you won't be able to leave the trash can under the sink.

Finally, a “jamb” that consists of the wrong choice and placement of the mixer is fraught with the fact that you will not be able to open the window to ventilate the kitchen.
