No one will argue that preparing walls for wallpapering is much easier than preparing them for painting.
But the situation changes dramatically as soon as you want to refresh the interior, because removing a layer of old wallpaper cannot be called a quick process, whereas in the case of paint, you don’t need to do anything at all – just apply a few layers of new paint over the old one.
The next thing that is definitely worth mentioning is durability.
Wallpaper is certainly inferior to paint when it comes to this indicator. Wallpaper will have to be replaced with new ones after 5-7 years, and if there are small children or pets in the family, then even earlier than the said period.
Finally, wallpaper cannot be called a resistant option to mechanical damage and changes in humidity.
In this case, they will start to peel off with 100% probability, which, as you understand, cannot be said about paint.
