Anyone planning to purchase kitchen plumbing would like it to not only look beautiful, but also be durable and convenient.

The expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, was happy to share her recommendations regarding the material from which the sink is made, so that your choice would be just that.

To begin with, we will tell you about the most popular options, which include artificial stone and stainless steel.

A sink made of stainless steel is a budget solution. In stores, you can find glossy and matte models, and both are resistant to corrosion.

It is worth making sure that the metal thickness is sufficient - otherwise the water will make too much noise when breaking. The disadvantages also include the inevitability of soap stains.

The advantages of artificial stone products include long service life, silent operation, increased strength, aesthetic appeal, ease of maintenance, etc.

In addition, the material in question is resistant to temperature changes and prevents the growth of bacteria, and therefore, unpleasant odors.

There is another option – cast sinks. Composite or agglomerate materials are used for their production. Up to 80% of the composition of such sinks is artificial stone chips, and the remaining percentage is used for binding agents.

Such products can please the housewife with high strength, absolute smoothness, resistance to the effects of cleaning agents, noiselessness and long service life.

However, the surface needs to be thoroughly cleaned if you have hard water. It is better to place hot dishes on a stand, and in general you will have to protect the sink so that it does not get chipped.

Finally, you can take a closer look at glued sinks, which are made of acrylic. They are not so expensive and, in addition, have less weight. At the same time, they should be protected from exposure to hot dishes or boiling water.
