The fascination with the past has always been in fashion. Antique items fit perfectly into the interior of a living space.

But some things get stuck somewhere on the border between the past and the present, and therefore only spoil everything with their presence. That's what needs to be gotten rid of first.

Bench in the kitchen

A corner bench is a convenient thing. You can even take a nap on it after lunch. Once upon a time, every home had one. But the smaller the kitchen, the less appropriate this item looks.

Bar counter

If it also has a pole, then this is a clear example from the 90s. Who even came up with the idea that this element is needed in the kitchen of an apartment - no one knows. But the fact that the stand takes up useful space and has finally gone out of fashion - that's for sure.

Upholstered furniture

Critics cannot stand the rare models of sofas with a very lush back, the dimensions of which are larger than the seat itself.

Wall-slide

This is the most striking example of irrational use of space. The worst ones can only be sections with glass doors.

Book table

Once upon a time, this was an indispensable option for every Khrushchev-era apartment. However, it will not be easy to fit it into a modern interior.

Computer desk

Almost a relic, like its colleague the table-book. Especially radical now are models with CD stands. All these attributes have become a thing of the past thanks to progress.

Corner shelf

A single shelf in the corner may be functional. You can put framed photos, vases and boxes there. But the overall picture will definitely not be complete. Besides, dust always collects on open shelves.
