No mirror
A must for a functional hallway is a full-length mirror, which is needed to take a look at yourself just before going out.
Freestanding wardrobe
The best option for the hallway is a built-in wardrobe. Freestanding furniture creates a cluttered effect and visually reduces the space.
Regular threshold
Designers advise replacing the traditional threshold, which significantly cheapens the room, with silacryl, a T-shaped profile or a cork compensator.
Dirty Zone
The so-called "dirty zone" must be tied to something. The edge of a partition, a cabinet or a door frame can be used for this, otherwise the geometry of the space will be violated.
Entrance door
Most often, in the hallway, you can see an unattractive frame around the door, even if the door leaf is light. Instead, paint it the same color as the walls – so it will seem to “dissolve” in the space.
