Sometimes the reason for a bad mood should be sought in unnecessary things in the room - there is an opinion that they can act as irritants.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, told us which items should be gotten rid of and why.
Family Heirlooms and Gifts
Sometimes relatives give you things that are not the most necessary as gifts: you are unlikely to ever use figurines, dinnerware, piggy banks, etc.
So why put them in the most visible place and keep them for the rest of your life? You can throw away family heirlooms without shame if you don’t like them very much.
Children's toys
Children's toys scattered all over the apartment, as well as crafts and all kinds of office supplies lying in the wrong places, often irritate parents and cause a bad mood.
Because of such things, people often become nervous and lose their sense of control, which is replaced by complete helplessness.
Uninteresting books
No one forbids you to keep your favorite works – it is quite possible that you will want to read them again. But you should definitely not keep literature that has made a bad impression on you – you will definitely not want to leaf through its pages again, and, in addition, you will experience negative emotions every time you accidentally glance at the volumes.
Unused Hobby Materials
Often we start to embroider a picture, but give up halfway. We buy beads for decoration, but they lie idle. Many people quickly lose interest and cannot do one thing for a long time (if it does not bring income). As a result, there are unfinished projects and mountains of unused materials that only take up space.
This can lead to guilt about wasted money and time, so it's best to gather everything together, assess the need for each item, and get rid of what's unnecessary.
Collections that no longer inspire
Collections of coins, figurines and magnets can become boring. If this happens, put them away in a closet or give them to friends. As a keepsake, you can keep only a few items that are dear to your heart.
For reference
Mood is a fairly long-term emotional process of low intensity that forms the emotional background for ongoing mental processes.
