It is generally accepted that a large chandelier almost always spoils the interior.
It is not surprising that a ceiling lamp has such a “reputation”.
A huge chandelier "eats up" the space. As a result, an already small room can become even less spacious.
However, there are two situations when a large device improves the interior and makes the room more comfortable.
The expert of the online publication BelNovosti in the field of design and interior design, Yulia Tychino, drew attention to the relevant points.
When you need to "put together a composition"
A large chandelier can perfectly “complement” a dining table with chairs standing around it.
To do this, it is enough to place a huge lamp directly above the corresponding pieces of furniture.
You will get an interesting "composition". A cozy place will appear, intended for family lunches and dinners.
In addition, it will be possible to zone the space: the place where food is consumed will be separated from the rest of the room.
High ceiling
A bulky chandelier will look great in a room with a high ceiling.
The interior will become more stylish. There will be a feeling of coziness.
But a flat ceiling lamp is not suitable for such a room: it will seem that there is “a lot of emptiness” in the room.
