We are talking about chocolate cookies with orange. Making them will not be difficult even for those who rarely do such things.

The recipe was shared by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova .

Ingredients

To prepare this treat you will need the following products:

– butter – 100 grams (you can add a little more to grease the pan);
– cane sugar – 100 grams (other sugar is possible);
- one chicken egg;
– the peel of one orange;
– milk chocolate – 50 grams (needs to be chopped into small pieces);
– flour – 275 grams.

Cooking process

First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Prepare baking trays and grease them with butter.

Place 100 grams of butter in a bowl and beat (you can use a wooden spoon or a hand mixer-beater) until the butter becomes completely soft.

Add sugar and beat again. Stop the process when the mixture becomes creamy.

The next step: beat the egg a little and add it to the mixture, then stir – the mass should become homogeneous.

Next, add the orange peel, chocolate and flour, mix thoroughly, and use your hands to form a ball from the dough.

Then we divide it into 4 parts - roll each into a sausage shape (approximately 10 centimeters long and 4 centimeters wide).

We divide each of these “sausages” into six parts and get 24 cookies (each should be round).

We send the fruits of our labor on a baking sheet into the oven. Bake for about 10-12 minutes – until the cookies become golden around the edges.

Take it out of the oven and enjoy the excellent taste. Just try not to eat it all at once, although it will be very difficult.
