Pumpkin can be stored perfectly for several months, but this does not mean that the vegetable is not suitable for winter preparations.
You can make pumpkin puree, which can be used in almost any winter occasion – from making soups and pancakes to aromatic baked goods.

You will need:
- pumpkin pulp 4 kg;
- sugar 200-400 g;
- water 1/2 cup;
- vanilla and cinnamon to taste and desire.
How to cook
1. The peeled pumpkin pulp needs to be cut into small pieces and then passed through a meat grinder.
2. Add sugar to the pumpkin puree to taste. Much depends on the sweetness of the vegetable. Approximate calculation is 50-100 grams of sugar per kilogram of vegetable.
3. Then add half a glass of water, stir and put the pan on the fire. You can make puree with vanilla or cinnamon, which are added during cooking.
4. Cook under the lid on low heat. It is necessary for the pumpkin to release juice, then bring the puree to a boil and turn off.
Pour the mixture into sterilized jars, roll them up and after cooling, put the jars away for storage. Enjoy your meal!
