Most housewives have a lot of tricks up their sleeve that, among other things, help them extract the maximum juice from a lemon or lime.
Typically, the recommendations say that the fruit should be preheated in a microwave oven or rolled on a table, pressing lightly.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, the most effective is a combination of these two methods.
First, press the lemon firmly onto the table and roll it.
This will help break down the vacuoles inside the fruit.
Then place the citrus in the microwave to warm it up and soften it even more, allowing you to squeeze out the maximum amount of juice.
Please note that these steps are only necessary if you are using your hands to extract the lemon juice.
If you have a juicer at your disposal, then no additional manipulations are required – you will squeeze the lemon to the last drop without them.
