We are talking about bay leaf and onion. If desired, you can add one or two cloves of garlic.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , these ingredients should be added immediately after the water with potatoes boils.
We will need just a couple of bay leaves and one medium onion, peeled and cut into 4 pieces.
As soon as the potatoes are cooked, drain the water, wrap the pan and leave it like that for a few minutes.
Before further use of the potatoes, remove the bay leaf, onion and garlic (if you added it).
Thus, we get boiled potatoes with an unforgettable, magnificent taste, not a dish – one continuous feast.
