Usually gourmets act like this: if they take on making pancakes, they make a whole stack. Few people make one small portion.
However, this option for creating a dish does not suit everyone.
There are people who are on a diet. They cannot afford to eat a lot of pancakes. And they don’t want to leave the cooked flatbreads “for tomorrow”: the dish is no longer as tasty when cold or reheated.
There are those who have little time. They do not want to stand at the stove for a long time for one dinner.
However, there is a way out. You can make so-called "bottle" pancakes. This is very convenient, emphasizes the expert of the online publication "Belnovosti" in the field of cooking, cook, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.
What are "bottle" pancakes
This is a dish for which the liquid base is prepared and stored in a plastic bottle.
From this dough you can make exactly as many pancakes as you need.
The container with the remaining mass is sent to the refrigerator for storage.
The next day, you can make the pancakes again. You won't have to make the dough again: you already have the supplies.
It turns out to be very convenient: you don’t have to overeat, and you don’t have to spend a lot of time preparing breakfast either.
How to Make Bottle Pancakes
Take an empty and clean 1.5 liter plastic bottle.
Place a funnel in the neck of the container and begin to fill and pour in the following components:
- flour (10 tablespoons);
- two beaten eggs;
- milk (600 milliliters);
- granulated sugar (3 tablespoons);
- salt (half a teaspoon);
- plant place (1 tablespoon).
Shake the bottle well. Try to achieve that the mass in the container becomes more or less homogeneous.
After this, you can start baking pancakes. Use the required portion of the dough. Store the remaining pancake base in the refrigerator.
Please note: pancake batter can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.
