You can cook broccoli in such a way that no one will notice it when it’s ready, but the taste will only please.
In such cases, the best thing you can think of is a vegetable casserole.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - a cook, fourth-category baker told how to serve broccoli to the table in a delicious and original way.
You will need:
- pasta 150 g;
- broccoli 50 g;
- onions 50 g;
- tomatoes 1-2 pcs;
- garlic 1 clove;
- cheese 130 gr;
- vegetable oil 20 ml;
- salt, spices and herbs to taste.
How to cook
1. Boil the pasta, drain the water, add oil (to prevent sticking).
2. Peel the onion and chop finely. Cut the tomatoes into medium slices and chop the garlic.
3. Divide the broccoli into small florets, boil in salted boiling water for 30 seconds and cool in cold water.
4. Fry the onion, add tomatoes and garlic, then salt and spices and after a couple of minutes remove the mixture from the heat.
5. Place the pasta in a baking dish, then the broccoli florets, pour over the vegetable mixture, and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place the casserole in it for 5-10 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving. Enjoy!
