At Christmas, in many families, in addition to kutia, it is customary to serve festive baked goods.
Some people bake stollen in advance, while others prefer a simpler, but no less delicious cake.

You will need:
- flour 2 cups;
- eggs 3 pcs;
- butter 250 g;
- sugar 1 cup;
- baking powder 1 tsp;
- dried fruits 400 g;
- nuts 100 g;
- cognac 100 ml.
How to cook
1. Wash dried fruits (candied fruits, raisins, prunes, etc.) thoroughly, cut into cubes, then pour cognac over them and let them sit for several hours.
2. Beat the eggs, add sugar and melted butter, mix until smooth.
3. Mix flour and baking powder, sift into the egg mixture.
4. If necessary, fry the nut kernels in a dry frying pan, chop them and add them to the dough together with the dried fruits, knead and let it sit.
5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, grease the baking dish with oil and place the dough in it.
Bake the cake for 45 minutes. Remove from the pan after the pastry has cooled.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. Enjoy!
