Not everyone will agree that preparing the most delicate cake requires only three ingredients and a quarter of an hour?
No eggs, flour or oven. It sounds like science fiction, but this recipe exists – and it will change the way you think about desserts.
We are talking about no-bake cheesecake. Yes, that same creamy dessert with a shortbread base can be made even in the conditions of “I have no time and energy”.
The base is biscuits and butter. Crush 200 g of regular shortbread biscuits into crumbs, mix with 80 g of melted butter and press into a mould. Put in the fridge.
Now the filling. You will need only two components: cream cheese (400 g) and condensed milk (1 can). Beat the cheese with a mixer until fluffy, gradually pouring in the condensed milk.
The mass will become thick and shiny. Put it on the base and smooth it out. Leave it in the refrigerator for 4 hours - or in the freezer for 40 minutes if you don't have the energy to wait.
But how to add a twist? Add lemon zest or vanilla to the filling – this will liven up the taste.
And try the layered version: divide the mass into parts, mix cocoa into one, and berry puree into the other. Lay it out in layers - you will get an impressive marble pattern.
And don't forget about serving. Before serving, run a knife around the edge of the pan to help the cheesecake come off easily. Garnish with fresh berries, caramel or chocolate chips.
Cut with a hot knife - this way the pieces will be perfectly even.
