Like many traditional dishes, the vinaigrette recipe needs an update.
Chef Yulia Arkhipova, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, spoke about how to turn this salad into a real work of culinary art.
It turns out that this can be done by replacing the usual vegetable oil with a much more original dressing.
Vinaigrette Dressing Recipe
To prepare a divine sauce for this dish, you will need to get the following ingredients:
- 3-4 tablespoons of aromatic unrefined sunflower oil,
- 1 teaspoon of prepared mustard,
- 1 teaspoon grated horseradish root (optional, can be replaced with horseradish from a jar),
- 1-2 teaspoons of vinegar,
- 0.5 teaspoon sugar,
- Salt and pepper to taste.
The oil and mustard should be mixed, after which you need to add horseradish and pour in vinegar.
Next, combine the remaining ingredients with the listed ingredients: sugar, salt and pepper.
All that remains is to mix all the ingredients until you achieve a uniform consistency.
Use the resulting dressing for your vinaigrette of beets, carrots, potatoes, cabbage and onions. Don't forget to mix the contents of the salad bowl well so that each piece is covered with a delicious and aromatic sauce.
