One of the favorite preparations for the winter is lecho made from bell peppers, to which tomatoes or other vegetables are also added.

You will need:
- tomatoes - 6 kg;
- pepper - 1.5 kg;
- salt - 1 tbsp;
- sugar - 1 cup;
- vegetable oil - 1 cup;
- vinegar 9% - 5.5 tbsp.
How to cook
1. Cut clean tomatoes into halves or quarters and mince or blend, rub through a sieve. Put the finished puree into a saucepan.
2. Add salt, sugar and vegetable oil and bring to a boil.
3. Remove seeds from the peppers and cut into slices or as you prefer, and place in a saucepan.
4. Cook under the lid for 15 minutes, add vinegar, boil and after a minute pour the lecho into sterilized jars.
We roll up the lids and turn them over. After the jars have cooled, we put them away for storage.
