Broccoli cabbage can ruin your mood with its appearance alone, if you don’t know about the benefits of the vegetable and interesting ways to prepare it.
People in the know don't see anything terrible in broccoli, and they eat it with pleasure themselves and treat others to it.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook delicious broccoli.
You will need:
- broccoli - 500 g;
- butter - 2 tbsp;
- onion - 1/2 pc.;
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- flour - 2 tbsp;
- milk - 2 glasses;
- cream cheese - 100 g;
- pasta - 500 gr.
How to cook
1. Over medium heat and in butter, fry the onion until it becomes soft and translucent.
2. Separate the broccoli into florets, chop if necessary, add to the pan, then add chopped garlic, salt and pepper.
3. After 3-4 minutes, add flour, stir and after 1 minute, pour in milk and cream cheese.
4. When the cheese has dissolved, turn off the heat, boil the pasta, but not until fully cooked. Drain the water, transfer the pasta to the pan with the sauce, add 1/4 cup of water and simmer over medium heat until cooked.
Add grated cheese to taste, stir and when the sauce thickens, serve. Enjoy!
