An interesting way to pickle cucumbers: a new taste of a familiar dish

It is safe to say that every housewife has her own view of pickled cucumbers, so it is scary to imagine how many recipes for this snack exist in the world.

Even lovers of salted and pickled cucumbers try to marinate one or two jars for the winter solely for variety.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to pickle cucumbers deliciously and unusually.

You will need:

  • cucumbers - 3 kg;
  • salt - 40 g;
  • sugar - 180 g;
  • black pepper (ground) - 1 tsp;
  • garlic (dry) - 1 tsp;
  • turmeric - 2 tbsp;
  • mustard (beans) - 6 tbsp. l.;
  • vinegar (9%) - 180 ml;
  • vegetable oil - 100 ml.

How to cook

1. Cut clean and fresh cucumbers into thin slices.

2. Then mix the vegetable oil and vinegar, add the spices according to the list and pour the dressing over the prepared vegetables.

3. Leave for 10-15 minutes to allow the vegetables to release juice, stir and place in clean jars.

4. Place the ingredients in a saucepan with water and sterilize for 15 minutes after boiling.

We close the jars with lids, turn them over and, once the preparation has cooled, we put them away for storage in a dark and cool place.
