The so-called "bulk pie" is gaining popularity among housewives, and it looks like it will soon become more popular than charlotte.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook.
You will need:
- apples - 1 kg;
- flour - 1 cup;
- semolina - 1 cup;
- sugar - 1 cup;
- baking powder - 1 tsp;
- vanilla sugar 1 packet;
- a pinch of salt;
- butter - 100-150 gr.
How to cook
1. In a bowl, mix flour and semolina, add regular and vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt and stir.
2. Peel the apples, remove the seeds and grate them on a coarse grater.
3. Line the baking dish with parchment paper and add the mixture of dry ingredients, then some of the apples, and repeat the layers so that the last layer is the dry mixture.
4. Then you need to grate the butter, spread it over the surface of the pie and put the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
The pie is removed from the pan after it has cooled. Enjoy your meal!
