Zucchini can be marinated for the winter using a very simple recipe that does not take much time.
The result is a very tasty appetizer, which, if desired, can be served as a side dish with meat.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook.
You will need:
- zucchini - 3 kg;
- salt - 2 tbsp;
- black pepper to taste;
- sugar - 6 tbsp;
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp;
- parsley and dill, 1 bunch each;
- vinegar (9%) - 1 tbsp;
- garlic to taste.
How to cook
1. Cut the zucchini into semicircular slices 1 cm thick.
2. Place them in a bowl, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, sugar and drizzle with vegetable oil and vinegar.
3. Then you need to chop the herbs and garlic and sprinkle the preparation with this mixture.
4. Mix the vegetables and leave to marinate at room temperature for 2 hours.
5. Place into clean jars, place them in a pan with water and sterilize in hot water for 5 minutes each.
Roll up, turn over and, after they cool down, put away for storage in a dark and cool place. Enjoy your meal!
