Pickling cucumbers for the winter without using boiling water, sugar and vinegar is a completely realistic task.
We'll tell you a simple recipe for delicious pickled cucumbers.
How to pickle cucumbers deliciously
Soak the cucumbers in cold water for a couple of hours. You don't have to cut off the ends.
Place seasonings (garlic, black peppercorns, dill sprigs and umbrellas, horseradish leaves) at the bottom of a three-liter jar, then cucumbers, more herbs, and more cucumbers.
Cover with horseradish leaves on top. Dissolve a tablespoon of mustard powder (without a slide) and 3 tablespoons of salt (also without a slide) in a liter of water.
Mix, pour into a jar with cucumbers, add water to the top.
Cover with a plastic lid, adding another spoonful of mustard underneath, and immediately refrigerate.
In about a month the cucumbers will become lightly salted, but it is better to wait 2-3 months.
