There are many recipes with watermelon - you can make jelly, lemonade and even salad from it.
One of these recipes was shared by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova.
She suggests making watermelon sorbet – a fresh and moderately sweet summer dessert that will be a real salvation if the purchased watermelon turns out to be tasteless.
All you need for 2-4 servings is 4 large pieces of watermelon and 2 tablespoons of cold water.
To make the sorbet, you will need to remove the rind from the watermelon, remove the seeds, and cut the flesh into small pieces.
Place them in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
After the specified time, the frozen watermelon pieces should be chopped using a blender, adding the above amount of water to them.
Important: The blender must be equipped with metal blades, as plastic blades may be damaged.
After this, you can put the sorbet into bowls and serve.
