Champignons are the most popular mushroom in cooking. To cook something tasty with them, you don’t need to boil the mushroom or spend a lot of time cleaning it.
Basically, mushrooms are used to prepare soups, julienne, and bake meat.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare a quick and piquant appetizer from champignons.
You will need:
- champignons - 300 g;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- mustard (grainy) - 1 tsp;
- lemon juice - 1.5 tsp;
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp;
- salt, black pepper to taste;
- fresh herbs.
How to cook
1. Wash the mushrooms, cut into two parts, and fry until golden brown in vegetable oil.
2. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
3. Finely chop the greens and place the mushrooms, onions and chopped greens in a salad bowl.
4. Then add chopped garlic and mustard, pepper and salt.
Stir, drizzle with vegetable oil and serve as a side dish or as a separate appetizer.
