How to Make Goulash Like You Made in Kindergarten: A Detailed Recipe with the Same Taste

Goulash prepared according to this recipe goes perfectly with mashed potatoes, and tastes no different from what they serve in kindergarten.

Detailed cooking instructions were shared by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova .

The dish consists of the following ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 200 ml of water;
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream;
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste;
  • 1 tablespoon flour;
  • 2 bay leaves;
  • salt – to taste;
  • vegetable oil – for frying.

Cut the meat into small, thin pieces and fry them in a frying pan, remembering to add salt.

At this time, mix sour cream and tomato paste in water. The resulting dressing should be poured into the fried meat and add flour here.

Add the carrots, previously grated, to the pan.

All that remains is to add salt, stir and cover the pan with a lid.

Simmer the goulash over low heat for about an hour until the pork is tender, then place it on the side and serve.
