The zucchini season can be considered open – the vegetables are already sold in markets and stores. So you can start preparing your favorite dishes without waiting for the summer cottage harvest.
It is not at all necessary to fry zucchini or use it for pancakes and other banal preparations.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to make a zucchini roll.
You will need:
- zucchini - 500 g;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- egg - 2 pcs.;
- flour - 1 cup;
- salt - 1/2 tsp;
- greens, pepper, paprika (sweet) to taste;
- mayonnaise - 3 tbsp;
- cheese - 150 gr.
How to cook
1. Peel the zucchini, remove the seeds and grate on a fine grater.
2. Add eggs, salt, spices, flour and mix.
3. Heat the frying pan and bake the pancakes in vegetable oil.
4. Prepare the filling: grate the cheese, add chopped garlic and herbs, mayonnaise.
5. When the pancakes have cooled, spread the filling and roll them into a roll.
Wait until it hardens in the refrigerator and cut the roll into slices. Enjoy!
