Many housewives deny themselves the pleasure of enjoying river fish for fear that when cleaning it, the entire kitchen will get so dirty that no amount of effort will be enough to wash it off.

You can leave your fears in the past – today we will tell you how you can quickly and with minimal effort remove scales from carp.

First, place the carp in the sink - collecting scales in the sink is much more convenient than running around the kitchen with a rag after them.

Then boil water in a large saucepan and pour boiling water over the fish on both sides – thanks to this simple trick, the scales will easily separate from the carp.

After this, cool the fish by pouring plenty of cold water over it. When the carp has cooled down, you can start cleaning the carcass.

For this, it is better to take a spoon rather than a knife.

Start from the tail of the fish, moving the spoon against the direction of the scales with a little force. Try to keep the spoon on the fish. This way you will quickly clean both sides of the carcass.

That's it! In a few minutes you will easily remove the scales from the carp, all that remains is to gut the fish and prepare the dish.
