What to make from minced meat and potatoes: definitely not sorrel or casserole

Minced meat and potatoes are simply made for baking cutlets or dumplings or even making a good casserole.

But we've all been through this before, and more than once. And when you need to surprise your guests with something delicious, then that's about creative cuisine.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare potato baskets with meatballs.

You will need:

  • potatoes - 5 pcs.;
  • flour -2 tbsp;
  • minced meat - 300 g;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • rice - 2 tbsp;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • cheese - 100 g;
  • salt, spices and herbs to taste.

How to cook

1. Boil the potatoes, mash them, add butter, egg and flour. Mix everything until smooth.

2. Finely chop and fry the onion until transparent, add to the minced meat.

3. Boil the rice and add it to the minced meat along with herbs, spices and egg.

4. Grease the muffin tins with vegetable oil and place the puree in them to form sides.

5. Place the minced meat in the middle and sprinkle with grated cheese on top.

Bring to readiness in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
