To prepare the simplest canapés you don't need any culinary skills.
All you need to do is carefully cut the products and thread them onto skewers. Ideas for canapes were shared by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova .
1. Cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and basil: the classic Italian Caprese salad is easily transformed into canapés.
Simply thread mini mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil leaves onto a skewer and serve.
2. Carbonade, sun-dried tomato and sauce: use good carbonade or boiled pork. If desired, they can be replaced with any dry-cured sausage.
Cut the meat into small cubes, add a drop of sauce to each cube (you can choose any sauce to taste, for example, mustard) and put a sun-dried tomato on top. Secure with a skewer.
3. Cheese and grapes: Any type of cheese will do – cheddar, gouda or brie.
Cut the cheese into cubes and thread onto a skewer along with the grapes.
4. Salmon and cucumber: Cut the salmon into thin slices and the cucumber into thin strips. Thread the salmon and cucumber onto a skewer to make canapés.
Earlier we talked about what kind of water is better to put eggs in for boiling: hot or cold.
