There should be no white “scorch marks” or snow on the carcass, as this may indicate violations during transportation and storage.

It is also important that the integrity of the packaging is not compromised, as this will cause the fish to dry out.

Frozen hake of various types of cutting is stored according to GOST 32366 for no more than 6-8 months at a temperature not exceeding -18 degrees, the specialist noted.
