How to Make Creamy Mushroom Sauce
List of required ingredients
- three hundred grams of fresh mushrooms (it is better to take standard champignons);
- a package of cream with medium fat content (we are talking about a 200 ml pack);
- one onion;
- one hundred ml of boiling water;
- a piece of butter;
- two small spoons of flour;
- salt and black pepper.
Cooking process
It is recommended to thoroughly clean the champignons and chop them with a grater. The smaller the size of the mushrooms, the more aromatic and rich the sauce will be.
Remember that if you clean the mushrooms well, there is no need to wash them.
The onion should also be cut as finely as possible and quickly fried in melted butter. Add the mushrooms and cook until done.
Do not forget that the dish must be constantly stirred. Then add salt, pepper and the specified amount of flour. Stir. Then add hot water. Bring to a homogeneous state.
The cream is heated separately in a saucepan and poured into the sauce in portions.
