How to cook potatoes in the microwave: the dish will be ready in a maximum of 10 minutes

When it comes to cooking, a microwave oven becomes a real salvation, says Yulia Arkhipova , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, because with its help we can prepare delicious and varied dishes in literally a matter of minutes.

In this article, we will tell you how to cook potatoes in the microwave – a simple but very tasty dish that will be ready in just 10 minutes.

So, first of all, select tubers of the appropriate size, and after they have been thoroughly washed, pierce each potato with a fork in several places.

That's all you need to do. Now put the potatoes in the microwave for 5-10 minutes.

Cooking time depends on the size of the potatoes – larger tubers will need ten minutes, while smaller ones can be ready in as little as five.

To make the finished dish juicy, before serving, each potato can be cut in half and filled with filling - you can use soft cheese, a mixture of olive oil and herbs, or your favorite sauce.

To prevent the filling from falling out, you need to cut out some of the pulp from the potato, mix it with the other filling ingredients and put it back into the potato “boat”.

We also have a recipe for those who like to cook potatoes using the oven. Cut the tubers in half, place the halves on a pre-oiled baking sheet skin side up and sprinkle with plenty of salt.

The dish is cooked for about 30 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
