Canned goods are a great help in the kitchen. I am not only talking about homemade pickles, but also about fish or meat preserves from the store.
With their help, you can quickly prepare dinner or original sandwiches with fish spread.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare a quick snack from canned fish.
You will need:
- canned fish (any) - 1 can;
- carrots (fresh) - 1 pc.;
- apple (sour) - 1 pc.;
- tomato - 3 pcs.;
- onions to taste;
- herbs, salt and pepper to taste;
- mayonnaise or sour cream.
How to cook
1. Peel the carrots, grate them on a fine grater, finely chop the onions, chop the greens, and cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
2. If the apple has a hard skin, peel it, but if not, grate it on a fine grater.
3. Clean the canned fish from bones and mash with a fork.
4. Mix the ingredients together (except the tomatoes), add salt and pepper to taste and season with sour cream (mayonnaise).
5. Mix and spread the prepared mixture over the tomato slices, sprinkling fresh herbs on top. Enjoy!
