Rose potatoes are a dish that looks simply amazing, but in addition to this feature, it captivates the hearts of those who have tried it with its amazing taste.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , preparing such a dinner will not take much of your time and effort.
Here is a list of the ingredients needed:
- potatoes – 500 g;
- raw bacon – 250 g;
- Parmesan cheese – 100 g;
- olive oil – 2 tablespoons;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- salt, ground black pepper, spices to taste.
The potatoes should be washed thoroughly and cut into thin slices (about 1-2 mm thick). If you have a special device for this, use it, if not, a regular vegetable peeler will do.
The potato slices need to be freed from excess moisture by wiping them with a paper towel.
Sprinkle the potatoes with vegetable oil, add salt, pepper, spices and crushed garlic to taste and mix thoroughly.
Now you need to lay out the potato slices in rows, sprinkling each row with grated Parmesan.
Roll the potato circles into a roll, securing the structure with a strip of bacon, and place the resulting “roses” in a muffin tin.
The form must be covered with foil and placed in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cooking time depends on the type of potato.
At the final stage of cooking, remove the foil and leave the potatoes in the oven for another 7-10 minutes to brown.
