How to cook homemade ham: the most tender and juicy

This recipe makes a simply gorgeous appetizer that you can serve for a holiday.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare delicious and juicy homemade ham.

You will need:

  • pork tenderloin - 1 kg;
  • water - 1 l;
  • soy sauce - 40 ml;
  • natural honey - 50 g;
  • mustard (grains) - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • dry garlic, salt and spices to taste.

How to cook

1. Wash a piece of meat and make several punctures in it with a knife.

2. Dissolve salt in one liter of boiled cooled water and pour the brine over the meat, which we put in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

3. Then the meat needs to be dried on paper towels, mix honey, mustard, garlic, spices and salt.

4. Rub the meat thoroughly with the marinade, place it in a container, cover with a lid and put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.

5. Then add 50 ml of water, heat in the oven to 180 degrees and bake the meat for 1.5 hours, periodically pouring the remaining marinade over the ham. Enjoy!
