But you can make a very interesting salad from cottage cheese.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare beetroot spread.
You will need:
- beets - 2-3 pcs.;
- cottage cheese - 200 g;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- spices and herbs to taste;
- wine vinegar - 2 tbsp.
How to cook
1. Boil or bake the beets in the oven, peel and cut them into thin rings.
2. Mix cottage cheese with herbs and spices, add chopped garlic. You can add processed cheese - then it will be more caloric.
3. Place the beets on a napkin and pour wine vinegar over them.
When the excess moisture has been absorbed, spread the curd mixture on the beets, cool slightly in the refrigerator and serve. Enjoy!
