Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare beetroot spread.
You will need:
- beets - 4 pcs.;
- processed cheese - 2 pcs.;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- nuts (walnuts) - 50 g;
- mayonnaise to taste.
How to cook
1. Beets need to be boiled or baked in the oven in foil.
2. Peel the root vegetable and grate it on a coarse grater.
3. Crush the walnut kernels into crumbs.
4. Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater or chop with a fork.
5. Mix all ingredients and add a little mayonnaise or natural yogurt.
Let it set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and spread it on bread, sprinkled with herbs. Enjoy!
