You will need:

  • buckwheat groats 1 cup;
  • potatoes 4 pcs;
  • bread crumbs;
  • vegetable oil, salt, spices.

How to cook

1. Sort and rinse the buckwheat. Then pour boiling water over the grains, put the pan on the fire, and bring to a boil.

2. After boiling, cook for 20-25 minutes.

3. At this time, wash and boil the potatoes in their skins.

4. When the buckwheat is ready, put it through a meat grinder together with the peeled potatoes.

5. Add salt to taste, spices, herbs and other vegetables if desired (for example, onions - the cutlets will be juicier).

6. Form cutlets, bread and fry in vegetable oil on both sides for two minutes.
