How to Make the Easiest Meat Pie: Choose Any Filling

Making a meat pie may seem like a long-term endeavor. Fortunately, there are many recipes for so-called jellied pies.

This recipe can safely be called lazy, but the pie does not become less delicious.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to quickly bake a meat pie.

You will need:

  • minced meat - 400 g;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • kefir - 350 ml;
  • baking powder - 1 tsp;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • flour - 7 tbsp;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

How to cook

1. Fry the onion with the minced meat, add salt, pepper and spices to taste. You can use any filling.

2. Mix eggs and kefir in a bowl. Mix flour with baking powder and sift it into the finished mixture. The dough should be like thick sour cream.

3. Grease the baking pan with vegetable oil and put the fried minced meat and onion on the bottom. Spread over the entire surface and fill with the prepared dough.

Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes. When ready, let it sit for a while and serve. Enjoy!
