Despite the fact that making pancakes seems like a simple task, not all housewives can boast of their ability to bake them.
Often pancakes stick to the frying pan and tear even if the recipe is followed exactly. Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, named two main reasons why this happens.
Wrong dishes
The first reason is using the wrong baking utensils.
If you don't have a special pancake pan, a regular pan with a thick bottom will do, but you need to heat it up well before you start cooking, otherwise the pancakes will stick.
Another tip: Before you start baking the first pancake, be sure to grease the pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil or lard. This will help prevent the pancakes from sticking to the surface of the pan.
Wrong dough
The second reason for pancakes sticking and tearing is mistakes in preparing the dough.
If the dough is prepared on the basis of milk or kefir, then to achieve the ideal consistency it must be diluted with water.
It is also important not to add too much sugar, as this can cause the pancakes to stick to the pan.
And, of course, if you don't want to peel off pancakes that have stuck to the pan, don't forget to add a little vegetable oil to the pancake mixture.
