The only alternative to tasty and healthy oatmeal cookies is coconut cookies.
You can make it from ready-made coconut flakes, which are sold in the store, or make it yourself.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to bake coconut cookies.
You will need:
- coconut shavings - 40 g;
- flour - 350 g;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- powdered sugar - 3 tbsp;
- butter - 100 g;
- vanilla and salt to taste;
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
How to cook
1. In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with powdered sugar, salt and vanilla.
2. Mix flour with baking powder and add melted butter, stir and add to the egg mixture.
3. Then add the coconut flakes, stir, cover with film and let the dough sit in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
4. Finally, form the cookies, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy!
