Mashed potatoes are considered one of the most popular and favorite dishes. At the same time, many cooks believe that it is impossible to achieve a delicate structure of mashed potatoes without using milk.

But what if you find out in the middle of cooking that there is no milk in the fridge? The answer to this question was found by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova .

The expert advises to stop panicking, because milk can easily be replaced with other ingredients that are likely to be found in every refrigerator.

One of these ingredients is sour cream.

Please note: sour cream has a thicker consistency and higher fat content than milk, so if you decide to use this milk alternative, proceed as follows.
