Salad with chicken and prunes is not a new thing. The dish is simple and long familiar, but for some housewives it may seem like a salvation.
Save the recipe – it will come in handy when you need to prepare something special for a family dinner or a rare guest.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, reminded us how to prepare this salad.
You will need:
- cucumber - 2 pcs.;
- chicken fillet - 300 g;
- prunes - 1 cup;
- eggs - 4 pcs.;
- nuts - 1/2 cup;
- mayonnaise - 1/2 cup;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp;
- salt and pepper to taste.
How to cook
1. Boil the eggs hard, and when they cool, peel and cut into small cubes.
2. Boil the chicken fillet until done, chop finely, mix with eggs in a salad bowl.
3. Cut fresh cucumbers into cubes and place in a salad bowl, followed by steamed chopped prunes and chopped nuts.
4. For dressing, add garlic, passed through a press, and lemon juice to the mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper to the salad or dressing to taste.
Dress the salad, mix, put in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours and serve. Enjoy!
