The recipe for Italian apple fritters was shared by chef Yulia Arkhipova , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of culinary issues.
Ingredients
- apples - 3 pcs.;
- flour - 120 g;
- water - 350 ml;
- dry yeast - 1 tbsp;
- sugar - 1 tbsp;
- yolk - 1 pc.;
- vegetable oil - 500 ml.
Cooking process
You need to dissolve the yeast in warm water. After a few minutes, add sugar, a pinch of salt, flour, and then the yolk to the mixture.
If you have grappa (an Italian grape alcoholic drink) on hand, you should pour in just one teaspoon. But this ingredient can easily be replaced with another.
The dough must be mixed until smooth and left at room temperature for 20 minutes.
The apples should be peeled and cut into thin rings.
They need to be dipped in the dough and placed on a hot frying pan with oil.
It is advisable to sprinkle the finished and hot apple pancakes with powdered sugar and only then serve them.
