How to Make the “Flawless Trio”: One of the Easiest and Tastiest Salads – and Only 3 Ingredients

The salad with the sonorous name “perfect trio” is familiar, and most importantly, loved by many housewives – at least for the simplicity of its preparation.

What it contains and how to prepare the dish, was explained by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova .

Let's start, as expected, with a list of ingredients. You will need:

  • 7 chicken eggs,
  • 1 bunch of green onions,
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise.

Once the above products have been found, you can start cooking. To boil chicken eggs, first rinse them thoroughly in water with soda. Then put them in a saucepan and fill with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 12 minutes from the moment the water boils.

Once the eggs are cooked, drain the hot water and immediately add cold water to the pan. This will help cool the eggs quickly and prevent cracks in the shell.

Important: If you are using a non-stick pan, transfer the eggs to another container after boiling, as the temperature change can damage the coating.

After the eggs have cooled, peel them and rinse them under cold water. Then cut them into medium or small cubes. Some people prefer to grate the eggs on a coarse grater, it depends on your preferences.

Then wash the green onion feathers in running water and dry them with paper towels. Chop the onion and add it to the chopped eggs.

You can replace the green onions with other types of onions, such as leeks, onions, or red onions. However, this will change the taste of the salad, as it is the green onions that give it juiciness and piquancy.

All that's left is to add mayonnaise to the bowl and add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients carefully, moving from the bottom up, and you can serve.
