Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to make a sochnik.
You will need:
- flour - 250 g;
- eggs - 3 pcs.;
- butter - 100 g;
- cottage cheese - 200 g;
- sour cream (20%) - 30 g;
- powdered sugar - 100 g;
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp;
- salt.
How to cook
1. Mix butter, one egg, half of the powdered sugar and a pinch of salt. Beat until smooth.
2. Mix 200 grams of flour with baking powder and add to the resulting mass, stir.
3. Divide the resulting dough into equal parts, rolling each into oblong strips.
4. Mix the cottage cheese with the rest of the powdered sugar, flour, sour cream and add one yolk. Beat everything until smooth.
5. Place the filling on the edge of the dough, cover with the second half, brush with yolk and bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven.
